There are many different methods and tools to use in the process of any project—not all fit one, and one doesn't fit all. What matters most is that we're highly skilled in implementing the right solutions to your problems. There is one thing for certain, we will need your input, feedback, and cooperation with following our processes along the way. Read through these general steps and if you're ready then schedule a call for a free consultation.
We'll ask the right questions to uncover the truth about why you need a new website and exactly what it is you're trying to achieve. Some of these questions may seem a little uncomfortable. In fact, if it doesn't get a little awkward, then maybe we haven't done our job.
Once we have all the information we need, we'll build a visual sitemap so we can all get on the same page very quickly about what it is we're trying to communicate and the best way to structure the information. Here's an example of one we put together earlier.
Now instead of trying to tell you what we intend to build and hope you see our vision, we'll create a prototype to show you how our solution will work. With little attention to design, it's not going to be pretty, but we can make rapid changes, discover many things we didn't expect to begin with, as well as work out an enormous number of problems that pop up. Check out this example we've prepared for you.
We like to think through as many things as possible with prototyping because it leads to a much smoother design phase. The fun begins during the design stage because we get to make choices with aesthetic elements such as typography, colors, lines, shapes, texture, photos, graphics, and style guides to bring your prototype and brand identity to life. Here's the same website fully designed.
Finally, we go underground for a couple of weeks and make sure everything is tested and in working order before deploying your new website to the hosting server for the world to see. Keep in mind that while it may be live we will be doing a few routine steps before you can appropriately make a grand announcement.
